Famillie Oulman at Pere Lachasie Cemetery

30 September 2011 No Comment

I love visiting Paris and try to get there at least twice a year. This photo was taken on my last trip and although it has an autumnal feel to it, with the fallen and golden leaves , it was shot mid August in stifling heat.

The tomb of Famillie Oulman at Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.

Père Lachaise is in the 20th arrondissement, and is reputed to be the world’s most-visited cemetery, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually to the graves of those who have enhanced French life over the past 200 years, as well as being the burial place for Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.
